Emunah
In Times Of Tzara
The
only comfort one can receive from pain is the one directly from
HaKadosh Boruch Hu, who is surely very close to us during times of
tzara. It is our suffering, our emunah and hope all mixed
together, that helps us get through. There is comfort in knowing
that we did everything we could for our sweet Yehuda Aryeh. We
left no stone unturned and finally had to accept the gezeira that
was inevitable. We fought for five and a half years for our Yehuda,
but in the end we couldn't fight HaKadosh Boruch Hu.
We fought a powerful disease, one that no medicine could overcome.
From our child, from Yehuda, we will see the "peiros"
that can only come from the world of neshamos. These peiros, must
be the impact of what happened to our son, and how that can
influence many individual lives. We have made a decision to
publicize our tragedy and speak to any school, to parents, and to
children in the hope that any chizuk we give will be an aliya to
the neshama of Yehuda. We want to do all we can to help those in
need and most important be a prevention for more of these lost
children.
As
for our sorrow, we, in the end, must accept the will of Hashem. We
cannot understand as much as we would like to, but that is the
other side of the tapestry that we cannot see clearly. The side we
see looks like a mess, but on the beautiful, smooth side of the
picture, Hashem's world and all His plans for us are clear. We
have no questions. We just have to accept this new reality and it
is very hard. But with Hashem's help, and only with His help, and
our emunah in Him, we will be able to do it.
We
are thankful to HaKadosh Boruch Hu for giving us the nechama of
all our wonderful children and grandchildren and our closeness to
each one. We are thankful for each and every brocha each day and
we daven for the strength to go on and serve Hashem b'simcha.
